Grill and Chowder

We write musicals. We are recipients of a 2021 Jonathan Larson Grant and a 2022 Relentless Award. Our work has been seen or developed at Ars Nova, New York Theatre Workshop, SPACE on Ryder Farm, Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, NYMF, HERE Arts Center, and Joe’s Pub. We met in 2011, as teachers at a quirky little school in Boston. We felt a kinship right away: a sense of being off-balance; an unwillingness to wrap our thoughts into neat little packages; a tremulous quality that comes from living always inside a question.
